We are born, we grow up, we breathe, we eat, we fuck, we drink, we fight, we work, we learn. But we never really learn. And one day we die, and all we do is leave a trail of destruction in our wake. We tear down twice what we try to build. Every time we try to love, we hurt. And everything we try to care, we let down. We struggle to find meaning, but meaningless is always stalking us and eating us from the inside out. This parasitic black hole within us sucks out all the joy of life, and turns everything black. No light escapes. Our only legacy is pain.

But I also believe our legacy is what we want it to be. Our black hole can be gentle and kind, and even somewhat necessary by learning how to handle it. If no light escapes, it also means that there IS light. And as long as there is life, there will be light...because there is death and darkness also. And even pain is a statement that we can feel.
Although we may not choose to stand in the middle of them, ultimately is ourselves who choose how to stand before each of them. The struggle to find meaning is the meaning in itself. It never was about knowing something or everything and that's it, it's over. It's about learning, it's about the process way more than the result of it.
Life is not merely walking a path that leads us all to death, for life is the path itself. Life doesn't exist if we don't live it.
